Centralia Police have arrested a 34-year-old Centralia man on an outstanding Marion County no-bond misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrant. Officers transferred Zack Wooters to the Marion County Jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 36-year-old Dominique Byrd of North Beech in Centralia on outstanding no-bond Marion and Clinton County warrants. Officers took her to the Marion County Jail.
Salem Fire Protection District officials say they found a malfunction in the main breaker panel when called to a home on Westport Drive Friday night. They smelled something burning, but found no fire or smoke. They remained on scene until Ameren crews arrived.
