Heather Marie Turczi, 40, of Centralia, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born on February 2, 1986, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Robert Roy Turczi and Betty Foster. Heather was raised with a strong love for her family, and throughout her life, those she loved remained at the center of her world.
Heather is survived by her mother, Betty Foster and stepfather, Kenny Foster, both of Centralia; her children, Morgan Foster and Joseph Cottrill; her grandchildren, Rosalynn and Jace; her brothers, Jordan and wife Bri, Zach, Corey and family, Kyle and family, and Jerry and wife Ashley and their daughter, McKayla; her sister, Taylor Rogers and nieces Maddie and Mila, along with Cody; her uncle, David and wife Maria and their children, Jennifer, Faith, Michael, and Aron; and many other extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Turczi; her brother, Jason; uncle Kevin Foster and her grandparents, Mildred Whaley and Bob Whaley.
Heather had a deep love for her children, grandchildren, and entire family. She treasured spending time with those closest to her and was always willing to help someone in need, whether the need was great or small. She did what she could for others and loved beyond measure. Heather also had a special place in her heart for her cats. She enjoyed watching Supernatural, and those who knew her will remember the love she had for her family and the many ways she showed that love.
A visitation for Heather Marie Turczi will be held at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 1:15 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Centralia.
