The City of Salem has announced a boil order has been issued for Starlight Mobile Home Park, and 414 and 504 Rotan Ave. due to a water main break.
Customers in that area experiencing a service outage or low pressure should boil water at a rolling boil for at least FIVE minutes before using. The BOIL ORDER will remain in effect until laboratory sampling confirms that water quality has been fully restored. At that time, notice will be sent out via the City’s Facebook page and Website salemil.us and also WJBD Radio.
