The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a second vacant home that has been burglarized and copper piping removed.
The latest report came from the owner of a vacant home in the 3000 block of Hoots Chapel Road in rural Odin where the home was reportedly entered several times.
On Monday of this week, the sheriff’s department was notified of a home on South Broadway outside the southern Salem city limits being broken into and copper piping stolen.
