State Police say a passenger bus and a car collided on I-57 northbound at mile marker 86 near Bonnie Friday night. After the two were disabled in the left lane, both the bus and the car were struck by a semi-truck.
The driver of the passenger car was transported with injuries to a local area hospital. The bus was occupied with passengers, but no injuries were reported.
Northbound I-57 traffic was shut down for the traffic crash investigation, with traffic diverted off the Interstate at Ina. The roadway was reported at approximately 12:27 Saturday morning.
