State Representative Blaine Wilhour will host his 4th Annual Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 13, at Willow Pond, located next to the visitor center at Carlyle Lake at 801 Laker Road in Carlyle.
The fishing derby begins at 9:00 a.m. with presentations on water safety and instruction on how to bait a hook, cast a line, and reel in a fish. The event is open to children ages 4 to 15 and Children must be accompanied by an adult.
