The Central City Village Board has appointed an investigator to look into a complaint filed against an employee or employees.
Village President Ken Buchannan says no details about the allegations will be released until after the board takes final action. He does say the complaint does NOT involve theft or any misappropriation of funds.
Buchannan says the investigator, Chuck Pierce, has lined up interviews for the coming week and he doesn’t anticipate the investigation will be lengthy.
The board has taken no action against the employee or employees pending the outcome of the investigation.
