The Special Education Coordinator Administrator at North Clay Unit School District will be the Odin School Principal next school year.

Kimberly Briggs will replace Sam Alli, who has been promoted to Superintendent. Biggs is the second person hired for the job.

Carlyle Junior High teacher Zach Huels, who initially accepted the position, later changed his mind when a job became available closer to his Clinton County home at New Baden grade school.

Briggs has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 24 years working in many settings such as schools and hospitals after moving to Fairfield. She worked in the Fairfield Elementary District for 14 years before going to North Clay.

Briggs completed her study through Eastern Illinois University for her Superintendent Endorsement in December. Briggs says she has a wonderful husband of 19 years and one daughter. She is looking forward to great things happening at the Odin School District.
