The Salem City Council faces a short agenda Monday night highlighted by a request to hold an event in Bryan Memorial Park for the non-profit SAFE rape crisis center in April. The event is being planned in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month on April 18th, beginning at nine a.m. It would include a fun run/walk, children’s activities, community partner and informational booths, food vendors, music and a brief awareness component or guest speaker.
The council will also consider approval of the bills from December 15th through January 2nd.
There will also be reports from the city manager, city staff, and the council members.
The meeting begins at six Monday night at Salem City Hall.
