An investigation is underway into the death of a 34-year-old Williston, North Dakota man found dead inside a vehicle parked at the Speedway Truck Stop in Ina late Friday afternoon.
EMS personnel were already at the scene and had pronounced John D. Nickerson deceased when Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived.
An autopsy will be conducted by Coroner Roger Hayse to assist in learning the cause of death. Sheriff’s office detectives and Crime Scene Technicians from Illinois State Police also responded to the scene.
