The City of Centralia issued $430,083 in building permits during the month of December.
A permit for a solar array roof mount at the Centralia American Legion at 117 South Poplar is more than half the total construction value at $289,000. The two next largest projects are also solar arrays. An array at Freedom Forever LLC at 332 South Lincoln has a cost of $46,043. The other array at Cozadd-Freedom Forever at 13-05 West 4th Street has a cost of $41,439.
Mission Centralia was issued a permit to construct a wheelchair ramp at a home in the 1000 block of Dover.
Four permits were issued for fences and another for a new sign.
There was one demolition permit. It was to tear down a home at 603 North Elm.
