Centralia Police say a woman who was causing damage to a car during an argument was later run over by the car.
Centralia Police say the incident occurred in an apartment parking lot in the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Drive. The woman who was run over had confronted the woman in the car and was beating on the vehicle before being run over as the other woman tried to leave.
The woman who was struck received a leg injury and was initially transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital before being transferred to a St. Louis Hospital.
The incident occurred at 10:12 on Wednesday night. Police say both women did not want to pursue criminal charges.
