Centralia Police arrested 32-year-old Brandon Marcum of Pullen Street in Centralia for alleged domestic battery. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.
56-year-old Kerri Dowell, who said he was homeless in Centralia, was arrested in Perry County on an outstanding Marion County no-bond felony warrant and was transferred back to the Marion County Jail.
19-year-old Andrew Boyce of Johnson Street in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County no-bond major traffic warrant and was taken to the Marion County Jail.
State Police arrested 25-year-old Alexander Davis of East 700th in Vandalia for driving under the influence. He was later released on a notice to appear in court.
Salem Firemen were called to a dead tree on fire just before five on Friday afternoon off the Foxville Road near the England Road intersection south of Salem. The cause of the fire has not been determined. The tree was in a line of trees, but the fire did not spread.
