One person was injured in a one car crash on Route 37 on the south side of Kinmundy early Wednesday evening.
A Marion County Sheriff’s Department report indicates 47-year-old James Bailey of Olney missed his turn and went into the roadside ditch.
Bailey along with passengers 43-year-old Denisha Bailey of East Lyford in Salem and 46-year-old Matthew Unsell of South Maple in Centralia all escaped serious injury. A third passenger, 51-year-old Nancy Oxford of Olney, complained of head injuries and was transported by United Medical Response to Salem Township Hospital.
The Kinmundy-Alma Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
The crash was reported at 5:19 pm.
