Salem Mayor Nic Farley swore in three new patrolman at Monday’s Salem City Council meeting.
They are Dylan Friend, Landon Tate and Cory Crouch. The three have already completed their policy academy training and are now completing field training with other officers before beginning patrol on their own.
The three new additions bring the police department back to full strength.
The city council also approved a three year contract with City Attorney Matt Wilzbach.
