James Lee Weidner, age 69 of Salem, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Fireside House in Centralia.
James was born on November 17, 1956, at the Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia, the son of Harley Glen Weidner and Doris J. (Sturdivant) Ruse.
Survivors include his two children, Lydia Weidner of Salem and Jack Weidner of Indiana; brother, Kelly J. Weidner and wife, Karen, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a sister, Mary Lawrence and husband, Rex, of Bargersville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley Glen Weidner and Doris J. Ruse, and stepfather, Jack Ruse.
James was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Centralia. He worked as a computer technician for Kerasotes Theatres for 32 years before retiring.
Funeral services for James Lee Weidner will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Centralia, with Ryan Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Salem. There will be a visitation at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the American Kidney Fund.
