A vacant home scheduled for demolition was destroyed in an early Friday morning fire in Wamac.
Centralia Fire Protection District Chief Ross Boshera says the home at 101 Wall was fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival, and one side had partially collapsed. A truck parked near the home was also destroyed, and a roll-off dumpster in the yard also caught fire.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
Centralia City Firemen provided mutual aid assistance.
The fire call came in at 1:26 on Friday morning. Firemen were on the scene for about three hours.
