A Centralia home was damaged by fire late Monday afternoon.
Centralia City Firemen say a passerby spotted the fire at a home owned by Robert and Ernestine Manning of 536 North Locust. The fire was confined to the living room with some smoke damage throughout.
While there were belongings in the home, it was not immediately clear if anyone was living there.
The fire is believed to be accidental, starting near a lamp on a TV console.
All available Centralia City Firemen and the Centralia Fire Protection District was called to the scene. Odin Firemen stood by at the Centralia Fire Station in the event of another fire.
The fire was reported at 4:11 Saturday afternoon, with firemen on the scene for an hour fifteen minutes.
