Pillow Pandemonium comes to the Salem Community Activity Center Saturday night. Doors open at five, the opening ceremony is at 5:45, and the first bout is at six. The Forge Boxing Club has organized the event at the community center.
Featured matches include the council faceoff between Centralia City Councilman and Salem Mail Carrier Izzy Fontenez and Salem City Councilman Frank Addison. The Hoses and Roses bout features Odin Volunteer Fireman James Fulton and the owner of Rose Printing Benjamin Trinkle. Two eighth-grade students, Logan Morgan and Elias Collier, will meet up. The Raccoon School Rumble will feature teacher Kendra Herman and school secretary Misty Rinehart. I want to speak to the manager bout will feature boss Karen Michels and Amanda Collier. Salem Emergency Management Agency Coordinator Andrew Strong will take on a masked opponent in the Fire and Ice Match. There will also be a mystery match.
Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
