A 47-year-old Odin man has been arrested on unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon and driving revoked. Marvin Henson of Laclede Avenue was arrested following a traffic stop and taken to the Marion County Jail.
Centralia Police arrested 35-year-old Bobby Cook of Saddler Street in Centralia for aggravated domestic battery. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.
A 43-year-old Odin woman was arrested at the Marion County Courthouse on Thursday for violation of pre-trial release. Sarah See of Ticklen Road was sentenced to the Marion County Jail.
A suspicious fire is under investigation in Junction City. Sandoval Fire were called to a truck on fire in the 1400 block of Madison Avenue shortly after midnight. The rear driver’s side door was open, which the owner said was closed at 10 pm when he was last with the vehicle.
Salem Firemen were called to two dead trees on fire Thursday night and early Friday morning. The first tree was in the 3000 block of Lazy Acre Road in rural Salem where a dead tree near the roadway caught fire. Some grass around the tree had burned earlier. The second fire was in a dead tree on Cascade Lane off Lake Centralia that was discovered around one Friday morning. The tree was among live trees that were not impacted by the fire. The cause of both fires has not been determined.
