On Tuesday, November 4th, the Salem Community High School chapter of National Honor Society inducted 27 new members. Students were selected based on demonstration of outstanding qualities in the pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The ceremony was led by NHS President Carter Lowe and officers Eli Baker, Abbigail Onhiser, and Jordan Kessler. The remaining officer, Kyler Sapp, was not in attendance.
New inductees from the senior class were Brody Collier and Morgan Kurwicki. Inductees from the junior class included Abigail Bookhout, Caitlynne Bryan, Lanie Bundy, Mia Burkett, Jordyn Carter, Allie Cavins, Sydney Clark, Isabella Decker, Jaxey Donoho, Adereza Duke, Avery Eastin, Eden Gallia, Avery Gullion, Payton Gullion, Brenna Hays, Alexis Hustedde, Addison Lever, Brylee Pennypacker, Baylee Riddle, Mya Russell, Catherine Snow, Kurt Sullens, Emma Turner, Maxwell Vincent, and Regan Vincent.
These students join 21 seniors who were inducted last year. Members inducted last year were Eli Baker, Aubrey Bandy, Kale Benjamin, Jackson Green, Kinsey Jarrett, Avery Jones, Madison Keserauskis, Jordan Kessler, Eli LoGrasso, Carter Lowe, Audrey Lybarger, Hunter Malan, Sierra Malone, Abbigail Onhiser, Abigail Patrick, Atiana Pitty, Finley Puricelli, Eden Russell, Kyler Sapp, Ella Smith, and Hannah Smith
