Glennis Virgil Harmon, age 83 of Kell, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at his home in Kell.

He was born January 28, 1942, in Johnsonville, IL, in a 14 x 20 one-room cabin, to Doris (Bradley) and Virgil Harmon.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1963.  He married Karen S. Hickey in 1964, and they later divorced.  In 1972, he married Janice Holleman, who preceded him in death on May 14, 2012.

He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He loved spending time with his grandsons and great-grandchildren. He was a truck driver, a construction worker, and a handyman. He loved tinkering and building things.

Preceding him in death are his mother, father, and brother.

He is survived by his significant other, Marge Donoho of Kell; his daughters, Tyra (Michael) Rulevish of Salem, Tara (Jason) Struckhoff of Texico; grandchildren, Cody (Christa) Phillips of Salem, Kyle (Lynsey) Ellis of Salem, Austin Ramsey and significant other Chelsea Mays, Quinlynn (Joby) Bryan, Madison Struckhoff, and Stetson Struckhoff; great-grandchildren, Carson and Corbin Phillips, Tyson, Waylon, and Rynley Ellis, Hudson and Bentely Bryan, and Finnegan Struckhoff; sisters, Avanelle Mercer of Otis Orchard, WA, Mayola Friend of Urich, MO, Cathy Ramirez of Bonner Springs, KS, and Gayla Fay Fitzgerald of Xenia; and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Glennis’ wishes, he will be cremated with no public services to be held.  Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family.  Online condolences and memories can be left at www.CrouseFH.com
