Both drivers refused hospital treatment following a two-car crash at Route 37 and Spillway Road on the north side of Salem late Wednesday afternoon.
Salem Police say a 17-year-old juvenile male was traveling northbound on Route 37 and was making a turn onto Spillway Road when he crashed into a southbound car driven by 18-year-old Molly Owens of Edgewood.
Both were checked on the scene by United Medical Response but signed refusals for hospital treatment. The juvenile was ticketed for failure to yield when making a turn.
The Salem Fire Protection District was also called to the scene.
The crash was reported at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
