A 46-year-old Texico man has been arrested on weapons and drug charges following execution of a search warrant on his home at 17,810 East Tea Rose Road early Wednesday morning.
Jack Heinrich was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of an altered firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon and possession of a controlled substance.
The Mt. Vernon Police/Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office High Risk Team reported the search warrant turned up numerous pieces of criminal evidence.
Heinrich was incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail in Mt. Vernon to await a decision on final charges.
