Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is coming to Centralia.  It will be located in the former Big Lots store on West Broadway.

The company says the opening is being planned for February of next year.  However, they warn there sometimes are delays during the permitting or construction process.

The City of Centralia has issued a $612,450 building permit for alterations to the Big Lots building to Cambri Builders who is doing the work for Ollie’s.

The company has picked up the lease where many of the Big Lots stores were located before the company went out of business.

Ollie’s has 618 locations in 31 states and opened a store in the former Big Lots building in Mt. Vernon earlier this week.   It is based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is traded on the Nasdaq stock market and is an S&P 400 component.

The outlet’s motto is ‘Get Good Stuff Cheap’ and claims to offer prices 80-percent less than fancy store prices.

The stores departments include kitchen-cleaning, food-candy, bed, bath and home decor, flooring, health and beauty, toys and games, books and stationery, as well as hardware and home improvements.
