A 30-year-old Salem man has been arrested by Salem Police for battery. Thomas Crooks of Ruble Lane is accused of throwing rocks at Moto Mart and an employee of the business in an August 28th incident. One of the rocks reportedly hit the employee, who was not injured. Crooks was not located until Wednesday night when he was taken to the Marion County Jail and arrested on a notice to appear.
Two others remain in the Marion County Jail on outstanding no bond failure to appear warrants. Centralia Police arrested Lacie Linder of Choteau Lane in Odin on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and 36-year-old Jenifer Melton of Arline Drive in Centralia on a major traffic warrant.
