We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Patricia “Pat” Diane Hill, affectionately known as “Pat,” who left us peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, at HSHS St. John’s Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Pat was born in Centralia, Illinois, on Saturday, July 25, 1953, the daughter of Lester and Audrey (Beyerbach) Tinsley.

A lifelong resident of Junction City, Illinois, Pat was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two beloved children, Todd Webb and wife Lori of Centralia, and Nicole Nolte and husband Nick of Junction City. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Lexi, Aiden, Ariana, Dakoda, Adilee, and Nevaeh, and several great-grandchildren. Pat also leaves behind three step-children, Albert Nice of Salem, Missy Beal and husband Greg of Centralia, and Matt Burkett of Centralia, along with her dear step-grandchildren: David, Dustin, Josh, Rochel, Brittany, Creedyn, and Gabe.

A loving sister to Kenneth Hawkins and wife Mary of Centralia, Pat is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Trisha Bartley and Carolyn Hill, both of Iuka, as well as several nieces and nephews. Also a special friend: Darla Loy of Charleston, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Audrey Tinsley, her beloved husband, Jack Hill, her sister, Ann Tate, and brother-in-law, Bud Tate.

Pat pursued her passion for helping others through a career in nursing, having earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Rend Lake College. With a remarkable career spanning over 30 years, Pat dedicated 15 years to the Warren G. Murray Developmental Center in Centralia, where she made a significant impact. She also worked at St. Mary’s Hospital from 1980 to 2002, and later at Odin Healthcare Center, providing exceptional care and comfort to her patients.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at a visitation held at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. A Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Pat will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
