Iuka Police have arrested 49-year-old Jamie Jenkins of South Locust in Iuka for violation of an order of protection. He was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
Centralia Police arrested 37-year-old Cari Reyna of East 3rd in Centralia on a no bond Marion County major traffic warrant.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called out at six Tuesday morning to a tree on fire on North Hotze Road in the field behind the Super Eight. The fire ended up being in some brush around the tree and was put out without any damage.
