The front of a detached garage owned by Matt and Tawny Collier behind 105 East Marvin in Central City was destroyed by fire early Monday afternoon.
The fire apparently started from burning brush in the yard unattended, which spread to the garage.
The entire 20-by-30-foot front section of the garage was destroyed, but firefighters were able to save the back 20-by-30-foot section that had motorcycles inside.
The City of Centralia and Sandoval Fire Departments provided mutual aid assistance, while Central City and Centralia Police provided traffic control around the scene. Odin firefighters stood by at the Centralia Fire Protection District station in the event of another fire.
Life Star Ambulance was on the scene in case of any injuries.
The fire call came in from a neighbor at 12:38 pm. Firemen were on the scene for about two and a half hours.
