Brenda F. Wutzler, age 80 of Odin, passed away on September 4, 2025, at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation in Chester.
Brenda was born on July 5, 1945, in Centralia, the daughter of Clarence and Lillian (Gibbs) Warden. She married William R. Wutzler on April 30, 1962, in Odin and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2007.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tami Altadonna and husband Gerald of Springfield and Pam Fogerson and husband Mike of Chester; grandchildren, Jarod Altadonna and wife Lydia of Springfield, Lake Fogerson and wife Natalie of Chester, and Ridge Fogerson and fiancé Montana of Chester; great-granddaughter, Evangeline Altadonna; one great-grandchild expected in November; siblings, Marlene Davis, Janice Irvin and Michael Warden; sisters-in-law, Pat Warden and Linda Harlow; brothers-in-law, Charles Albert and Bob Wutzler and wife Linda; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughters, Kaylea and Madalyn Fogerson; siblings, Rex Warden, Ron Warden, Gary Warden and Lois Albert; brother-in-law, Jim Davis; and sister-in-law, Jan Warden.
Brenda was a member of the Odin First Baptist Church and the DAR. She enjoyed crocheting, cake decorating, ceramics, floral arranging, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She worked as an LPN for many years, working for Dr. Frost and Dr. Stackable, Fireside Nursing Home, and Murray Center.
Funeral services for Brenda F. Wutzler will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Dr. Mike Fogerson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin.
