The 35th Annual Antique Power Days is underway and continues through Sunday with displays and various activities.

The featured tractor this year is Massey-Harris and Massey Ferguson.  Power Days will be hosting the Massey Collectors of Illinois.

A large display of Massey and other tractors will be at the fairgrounds for the show along with other antique farm equipment.

Jim Sellers says the first tractor pull will be at seven Friday night.

“The Illinois Hot Farm Stock Tractor Pull will be a sanctioned pull. They all put on a pretty good show. Saturday will be just a regular weighted tractor pull. You just pay your money, weigh your tractor, get out there and hook her up.”

Sellers says a number of special activities are planned.

“I think one of the guys said they’re going to try to get a buzzsaw set up, cut some firewood with a buzzsaw. We have a big flea market going, they put together a really good flea market this year, so we’ve got two or three barns full of items and people selling them.”

Sellers says there will also be a toy show in the exhibit building on Saturday and Sunday, with a toy auction at ten Saturday morning.

Other special activities on Saturday are an antique tractor pull at 9:30 am, wheat threshing/corn shelling at ten and one, Cody Phillips performing on the free stage from eleven to two, kids’ tractor pull at one, and an exhibitor tractor pull at six Saturday night.

Gates open at nine both Saturday and Sunday to visitors.  The show begins wrapping up Sunday afternoon.
