The Patoka Fall Festival will once again highlight the Labor Day Weekend.
The Patoka Park opens at five Friday night with the carnival and food vendors. Friday activities include Bingo and music from Jamie Nattier and Hannah Lowery from five to seven. The Fun Show rodeo is set at seven. Admission for all ages is five dollars.
Activity starts again at 11 Saturday morning when a parade will travel through downtown to the park. The theme this year is “Leave a Little Sparkle Wherever You Go”. Niemerg’s will serve a fried chicken dinner at noon, with desert available from a pie stand operated by the Patoka Library. The carnival will begin its afternoon run at one. Food Venders and the carnival will reopen on Saturday at one. Bingo and a Cake Walk will begin at two. The demolition derby is set to close Saturday activities. Cars may register after three. You can enter the arena beginning at six. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for those six to ten.
The Fall Festival closes with the Community Church Service at 10:30 Sunday morning at the Patoka United Methodist Church.
