An open house is planned at the Odin School from four to six Wednesday evening ahead of the first full day of school on Thursday.
The Odin School Board at its meeting Monday night approved a 3.5-percent wage increase for non-certified employees. The board also agreed to allow parents to restart the Odin PTO organization. They will make a $500 contribution each of the next three years to support the Little Egypt CEO program.
The board acted on a number of personnel issues. The resignation of high school science and German teacher Elise Boga was accepted. The board named Vanesa Hanke as high school and junior high cross country coach. Michael Wright was named girls high school golf coach. KD Lynch resigned as junior high volleyball coach and Amenda Ogrzewalla as assistant. Both are moving up to be coach and assistant coach at the high school level. No action was taken on naming new junior high volleyball coaches.
