Timothy Daniel Tolbert, a resident of Centralia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on Friday, December 11th, 1981, in Centralia, Timothy spent his entire life surrounded by his family.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Tolbert Sr.; his mother, Ellen Schmitz; and his stepfather, Kevin Schmitz. Timothy found immense joy and solace in various pursuits. He held a deep passion for wrestling and video games and cherished the company of his loyal four-legged cat companion, Shadow.
Those who knew Timothy can attest to his love for simple pleasures, such as sitting outside and listening to music. Above all, his family was his world. Timothy took great joy in spending time with his beloved nephews, Willard Tolbert and Zackery Dorriety, who were especially dear to his heart.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his brother, Robert Tolbert, Jr., and wife Laura of Central City; his sister, Jennifer Smith, and husband Mike of Centralia; and his stepmother, Robin Tolbert of Centralia. He is also survived by his step-brother, Lucas Parke, and wife Kayla of Centralia, as well as his aunts and uncles, Gayla Ross and husband Pat of Centralia, and Daniel Downen and wife Tammy of Marathon, FL. Timothy was also adored by several nieces and nephews, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and love.
Per Timothy’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Please contact the family for more information. Timothy will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love for family, and his ability to find happiness in the world around him. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew and loved him.
