Arnold “Dean” Ross passed away on July 7, 2025, in Cypress (Houston) TX, formerly of Centralia, IL.
He was born to the late David and June Elaine (Norman) Ross on October 16, 1954, in Centralia, IL.
He is survived by sister Linda Still and husband William of Centralia, his twin brother Alan Dale Ross and wife Rosemary of Centralia, and sister Nancy Jo Ansley and her husband Jon of Patoka, IL, Sister in law Cynthia Collins of Houston, one nephew, and 5 nieces. He has three daughters, Patty Ross, Sara Ross, and Katie Ross, all from Texas. He was married to the late Stephanie (Collins) Ross of Houston, Texas.
He attended Washington Grade School in Centralia and graduated from Centralia High School. Before moving to Texas he worked at Rockwell International. In Houston he worked for Tide Aire (industrial air compressors) as the manager of rentals and service department.
He loved fishing (both bass tournaments and off-shore deep sea), playing golf and cooking barbecue for his family. Most of all he loved spending time with his daughters. He was baptized in the Southern Baptist faith at Temple Baptist Church in Centralia.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
