Centralia Police say three juveniles have been arrested in connection with five vehicles that were entered in the Edgewood South neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
Police were initially called by a resident who saw the three allegedly entering vehicles. As police arrived, one juvenile riding a bike fled and eventually stopped. The other two were spotted walking and taken into custody without incident.
Police say the three were found in possession of items taken from three of the cars. Nothing was apparently taken from two other vehicles that were entered.
All three were arrested on five counts of criminal trespass to a vehicle and three counts of motor vehicle burglary. The one who attempted to flee on his bike was also ticketed for resisting arrest. The three were released to their parents pending further court action.
