Salem Police arrested 20-year-old Tristan Nix of Salem Mobile Home Park on Sunday night for aggravated domestic battery.  He was accused of choking a family member during an altercation at his home.  A third party had called Salem Police fearing a fight was underway possibly involving a knife.  A knife was located in the home, but it had not been used.  The alleged female victim who had marks around her neck declined hospital treatment.

Salem Police arrested 55-year-old Bryan Hester for violation of an order of protection.  Police say Hester, who said he was homeless, was yelling across the street towards the protected person.

Salem Police also arrested two on outstanding no bond failure to appear warrants.  39-year-old Kendra Whitecotton of Benton on three Williamson County no bond warrants.  They also arrested 27-year-old Brian Scott of South Perrine in Salem on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant.

23-year-old Blake Smith of East 3rd in Centralia was arrested on a Marion County major traffic warrant as well as outstanding Jefferson and Clinton County warrants.
