A 36-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Washington County failure to appear or pay warrant in a possession of methamphetamine conviction. Richard Burkett of Poplar Street remains in the Marion County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
A 34-year-old Salem woman turned herself in on a failure to appear warrant in a pending possession of lost credit or debit card. Tiffany Organ posted $180 bond and was released.
A Kinmundy man escaped injury when his vehicle hit a cow. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Brett Webb of Hanna Road was traveling on the Kinlou Road east of Meachum Road when the crash occurred at 4:40 Saturday morning.
