A 74-year-old Okawville man was injured when his truck ran off Illinois Route 127 Thursday morning and collided with a deep ditch embankment.
State Police say Benjamin Meier was traveling northbound on Route 127 near Connecticut Road in Nashville Township when he ran off the right side of the road and collided with a deep ditch embankment.
Meier was airlifted from the scene to a regional hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
State Police are releasing no other details at the present time about the crash that occurred at 10:23 Thursday morning.
