A small fire outside a rural Woodlawn home spread to the home but was quickly put out Friday afternoon by Jefferson Rural Firemen.
Firemen say the fire was at the Roxana Crain home in the 7,000 block of East Richview Road. The owners kept the fire contained with a garden hose until firemen arrived on the scene.
Crain’s daughter was checked on the scene by Litton’s Ambulance for apparent minor burn injuries, but refused medical treatment.
The fire call came in at one Friday afternoon.
