2023 03/07 – Karen A. Webb

Karen A. Webb, 59, of Centralia, Illinois, sadly left us on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, after a lengthy illness.

Karen “Bunny” was preceded in death by her mother: Frances R. Webb and father: Stanley E. Webb, and sister-in-law: Stephanie Webb.

She leaves behind brothers: Steven E. Webb of Dix, Illinois and Stanley E. Webb of Centralia, Illinois and sisters: Kimberly M. Wolenhaupt of Centralia, Illinois, Lisa L. Wuebbles of Highland, Illinois, Lori L. Roper of Centralia, Illinois and Stacy E. Webb of Centralia, Illinois; She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Misty Dodson, Meghan Poninski, Kristen Wuebbles, Richard Dodson, Caleb Chapman, Stephen Webb, and Ayden Webb.
Karen was a dedicated lifelong employee of Fireside Nursing Home in Centralia, Illinois. If ever there was someone who was devoted to their place of work, it was her. Karen will leave behind an unmeasurable amount of friends and acquaintances that she considered family. To know Karen was to love her, she was a very caring and giving person as all who knew can attest. She will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank, Kathy Berck and the staff at Fireside Nursing Home for the care and support that they have provided Karen throughout the years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Deby Klein officiating. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Webb Family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore St. in Centralia, IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Bunny’s Family.
