Karl “Paul” Schwegler was born on September 7, 1960, in Peoria, Illinois, the middle son of Marvin Schwegler and Colleen Cantrell Schwegler.
Paul grew up in Salem, IL, and worked as a machinist until moving to Tulsa Oklahoma at the age of 27. Paul went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 64.
Paul was a man of faith, accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age. A machinist by trade and well-trained in metalworking in the aircraft and oil industries. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, machining, and music. He was a talented bass player, playing for different bands through the years and in the band at church. He liked cars, motorcycle trials riding and most recently spending time with his dog, Butch, and listening to local bands. Paul was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and friends.
