A 40-year-old Fairfield woman was sanctioned to 30 days in the Marion County Jail with day for day goodtime after not completing a Pretrial Sentence Investigation at Marion County Probation before her scheduled sentencing on Tuesday.

Carrie Cullins of South East Fourth Street had been ordered earlier to complete the PSI as part of her pre-trial release in the pending burglary case.

In addition to the sanction, Cullins was once again ordered to complete the PSI report before her sentencing hearing that has been rescheduled for March 11th.

Cullins had earlier pleaded guilty to her role in entering a building in the 7300 block of the Route 161 Extension in rural Iuka in October 2023.

A co-defendant in the case, 46-year-old Daniel Brockett of Fairfield, was earlier sentenced to six-years in prison on the burglary charge to run concurrently with prison terms handed down in Wayne and Hamilton Counties on petitions to revoke his probation.
