Norman Sullivan, 86, of Salem, passed away with his family by his side on January 20th, 2025. He was born in Kinmundy, Illinois to Archibald and Mary (Thompson) Sullivan on November 24th, 1938. He would marry Aloma Kay Hays on October 21st, 1958, and they would spend 66 amazing years together.
He is survived by his wife: Aloma (Hays) Sullivan; 3 sons: Rick (Allison) Sullivan of Salem, Geoffrey Sullivan of Salem, and Brett (Natasha) Sullivan of Salem; one daughter: Lori Ferris of Salem; 4 grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and MANY nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Archibald and Mary Sullivan; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Norman was very athletic and loved playing golf, baseball, and softball. He had a mechanic’s mind and liked to work on cars. His biggest joy was spending time with his family.
Per family wishes, cremation rites will be afforded. A burial will take place at a future time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
