A Centralia resident was able to push a burning dryer outside his home late Sunday night to prevent any damage to his home.
Centralia City Firemen say Ian Kopf of the 1100 block of North Maple saw the fire, unplugged the dryer, and pushed it into the yard from an adjacent door.
Firemen then extinguished the fire in the dryer upon arrival. The dryer was a total loss.
The fire call came in at 10:20 Sunday night.
