Ms. Mary Lee (Banaszek) Hake of Centralia, IL, formerly of Ashley, IL, departed this life at Her residence on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:49 A.M. She had attained the age of 62 years, 3 months, and 11 days.
Ms. Hake was born on September 23, 1962, in Nashville, IL, the daughter of Charles and Rose Mary (nee Kasban) Banaszek.
Mary worked as a secretary in the office of the Illinois Department of Employment Security. She attended St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL, and St. Mary Catholic Church in Centralia, IL. She attended bible study group. Mary loved attending her niece and nephews sporting events, she also was a loyal Orphans basketball fan and enjoyed watching March Madness. Winter was Mary’s favorite season, and she loved the snow.
Left to mourn her passing are her sister, Ann (Tim) Reynolds of Hillsboro, IL; 2 nephews and a niece, Mitchell, Emily, and Dalton Reynolds; aunt, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10 AM with Fr. Steve Pautler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom on Friday from 8 A.M. until the service hour.
Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials can be made to the St. Michael Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, which is assisting the family with arrangements.
