Dennis “Dino” Littrell, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9th, 2024, at the age of 68.
Born on May 14th, 1956, in Centralia, the son of Robert Littrell and Valta (Campbell) Littrell. On February 14, 1994, Dino married Rebecca Pendle and she preceded him in death on December 28, 2015.
As a Union Painter, Dino was known for his meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to his work. His love for painting extended beyond his profession and was complemented by his interests in woodworking and maintaining his well-tended yard, which brought him great joy. Those who wish to honor his memory are encouraged to celebrate his life in their own way, reflecting on the warmth and vibrancy he brought into the world. Dino will be dearly missed but forever remembered by all those who knew and loved him. His spirit lives on in the colorful strokes of paint, the smooth surfaces of wood, and the lush green grass he so lovingly cultivated.
Dino leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Bressler, and her husband, Dalton, of Dix; his step-daughter, Teresa Chittenden of Centralia; and his six cherished grandchildren: Tevan Littrell, Kaisen Littrell, Annelynn Bressler, Paige Chittenden, Hailey Mullens, and Jacob Mullens. His legacy continues through his four great-grandchildren: Khail, Tobias, Renesmee, and Enzo. He is also survived by his brother, Doug Littrell, and wife Lisa of Omega; sisters, Donna Rippy and husband Bob of Junction City, and Debbie Finley and husband Tony of Centralia.
