Salem Community High School Inducts 24 Members into National Honor Society

On Tuesday, November 12th, the Salem Community High School chapter of National Honor Society inducted 24 new members. Students were selected based on demonstration of outstanding qualities in the pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The ceremony was led by NHS President Ella Douglas and officers Preslee Harris, Kennedy Finney, Chesney Clark, and Jaryn Haarmann.

New inductees from the senior class were Savannah Arnold, Larisa Carpenter, and Cooper Lobek. Inductees from the junior class included Eli Baker, Aubrey Bandy, Kale Benjamin, Jackson Green, Kinsey Jarrett, Avery Jones, Madison Keserauskis, Jordan Kessler, Eli LoGrasso, Carter Lowe, Audrey Lybarger, Hunter Malan, Sierra Malone, Abbigail Onhiser, Abigail Patrick, Atiana Pitty, Finley Puricelli, Eden Russell, Kyler Sapp, Ella Smith, and Hannah Smith.

These students join 21 seniors who were inducted last year. Members inducted last year were Lilly Blagoue, Sierra Blank, Makayla Braddy, Lauren Burge, Cole Casburn, Chesney Clark, Rhett Detering, Ryan Detering, Ella Douglas, Kylie Engel, Kennedy Finney, Keaton Gullion, Jaryn Haarmann, Preslee Harris, Olivia Howe, Jalen Inlow, Wyatt Rau, Braden Rector, Breanna Thurman, Kiley Vieira, and Riley Vincent.
