The Centralia City Council Tuesday night will consider options on its worker’s compensation insurance. City Manager Kory Smith says a proposal from its current provider Illinois Counties Risk-Management was the lowest bid.
The council will also approve two resolutions to provide property tax rebates through the Raccoon Lake Tax Increment Financing District to Meadow Woods Holdings and Villas at Centralia Heritage Woods. The Meadow Woods disbursement is for $273,204 and the Villas payment is $15,637.
The council will also be asked to approve a resolution from the Downtown Christmas Stroll Committee for use of City Owned Property for its annual event on Friday night, December 6th.
A closed session is scheduled after adjournment.
The meeting begins at six Tuesday night at Centralia City Hall.
