Keep Salem Beautiful will begin a quarterly program to reward City of Salem business for their beautification efforts for their locations.
Each quarter, beginning November 1, 2024, a business which exemplifies a true spirit of community pride with an attractive and professional business front will be awarded $250.
Judges will be looking for a cleanly swept entrance, attractive and neat window displays, windows and doors clean of dirt and fingerprints, weed-free and clean sidewalk area leading into the business, as well as any improvements to the appearance of their establishment.
Award winners will be notified on the 1 business day of each quarterly month, with the first award to be generated on November 1, 2024. Beginning in2025, awards will be given January, April, July, and October.
